1991年7月毕业于浙江医科大学临床医学（五年制）系后，留校攻读肿瘤学硕士（1996-1999）。1999年7月始在威尼斯144777附属邵逸夫医院肿瘤内科从事临床工作，2001年晋升主治医师。2001年12月-2004年11月在德国karlsruhe大学攻读分子肿瘤学博士。2004年12月-2007年10月先后在德国Jena分子生物技术研究所和中国香港中文大学肿瘤学系从事博士后工作。2007年11月-2009年10月在香港中文大学消化病研究所任研究助理教授，研究小组组长（PI）。2009年11月始获聘浙江大学求是特聘教授并全职回国工作。
在国际著名刊物如Nature, PNAS, Gastroenterology、Hepatology、Gut、Oncogene 等杂志上发表研究论四十多篇。主要研究内容是细胞信号转导、表观遗传学的分子调控机制、表观遗传网络在肿瘤发生中的生物学意义及其临床应用开发等。
